As mentioned in the previous article, North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un went to Russia for a summit with President Vladimir Putin. Kim accused the US of “bad faith” during the summit with President Donald Trump. Details of North Korea summit are not revealed yet.
Kim Jong-Un said Korean peninsula peace entirely depends on Washington. He says that situation may return to its original state as the US took and unilateral decision in bad faith. Pyongyang also blamed the US of derailing peace talks.
Kim told Russian President that “the situation on the Korean peninsula and the region is now at standstill and has reached a critical point.”
Reportedly, negotiations between North Korea and the US broke after a summit in Vietnam as there was no deal about nations’ nuclear weapon.
North Korea demanded full economic sanctions relief in return for some denuclearization commitments. But, the US left the summit without any deal.

Now after North Korea summit with Russia, Kim invited Vladimir Putin to his country. Even Putin accepted the invitation gladly. He said he will visit North Korea at a convenient time.
President Putin acted as an arbiter and said, Mr Kim needed international security guarantees if he was to end his nuclear programme.
Meanwhile, Kim praised the summit as a “very meaningful one-on-one exchange”.
Talking about summit details, we don’t know anything about it yet. Reportedly, the Russian President is going for a two-day summit in China. He wants to discuss North Korea summit talks with China’s leadership. Also, he is willing to share the North Korea summit details with the United States.
Relationship of North Korea and Russia has been roller coaster ride as a great change took place before and after the cold war.
