A 16 month older toddler died in a hot car in Burnaby, British Colombia. Parents left the kid alone in a locked car.
According to Burnaby RCMP toddler was unconscious in a vehicle parked at Inman Avenue and Kingsway. Police also located the father at the scene.
The kid was then taken to the hospital but he could not survive there and died. A thorough investigation is going and both the parents are cooperating. The BC Coroners Service is investigating the case.
Chief superintendent Deanne Burleigh didn’t share details of the investigation. Questions like who found the 16-month old and who call 911 are still unknown. She didn’t reveal all these details.

She said the investigation process is going on and they are interviewing everyone including parents, witnesses and all other residents of the area.
Further, she said, “It’s absolutely heartbreaking. I can’t imagine how the parents are coping.”
Victim Services is continuously supporting the parents. They are also surrounded by all their friends and family.
The temperature in BC is rising drastically. The weather is becoming warmer and warmer day by day. Hence, none should leave their children of any age alone in a locked car.
