The Canadian force announced the stay of army soldiers in Quebec. They will help remove sandbags and restore critical infrastructure. Quebec flood resulted in damage. Even the Red Cross helped the Quebec Flood victims. Expectedly, The forces will now help in the Quebec cleanup operation.
Today, Brigadier General Jennie Carignan said the Forces agreed to Quebec’s request to deploy soldiers for a second mandate. This time army soldiers will help with Quebec cleanup operation.

Carignan said now soldiers will help in restoring infrastructures such city halls, main roads etc. Previously, they were protecting the properties.
High water level continuously threatens communities of Ontario & Quebec. But, now the flood condition is under control. Everyone is trying to restore the damage occurred by floods.
Northwestern Quebec authorities fear high water levels in Timiskaming Lake. They fear because it could prompt the landslides.

Furthermore, Brigadier General Carignan announced there are roughly 100 soldiers across the province assisting in flood relief. She says the army will assess how many soldiers are needed, and for how long, to fulfil the new mandate.
