According to the Huawei’s top legal officer, US move to blacklist Chinese tech giant Huawei Technologies sets a dangerous precedent. Thus, American firms cannot trade with Huawei unless they have a license.
Song Liuping, Chief legal officer of Huawei said, “Politicians in the US are using the strength of an entire nation to come after a private company.”
He said, “Today its telecoms and Huawei. Tomorrow it could be your industry, your company, and your consumers.”

In March, Tech giant filed a lawsuit against the US government. The case is regarding the restrictions that prevent US federal agencies from using Huawei’s products.
Moreover, Mr Song said, “The US government has provided no evidence to show that Huawei is a security threat. There is no gun, no smoke. Only speculation.”
In recent months, the US-led other countries in blocking the use of Huawei products. the nation is concerned over the misuse of the firm by the Chinese government to conduct surveillance.
Further, the Chinese tech giants decline the security threats imposed by their products. It also claims that the company is independent of the Chinese government.
