Three people dead after Toronto stabbing incident, police say

Toronto police say three people are dead after a reported stabbing in the city’s north end on Saturday afternoon.

Investigators say they were called to the scene just after 2:30 p.m.

Supt. Ron Taverner told local news station CP24 that police were investigating “multiple scenes” and said officers were not looking for suspects.

He says one woman and two men were killed.

Medics were on the scene Saturday afternoon and officers with the homicide unit have taken over the investigation.

Taverner says more details on the incident will be provided later in the investigation.
