The BC Muslim School in Richmond has a possible COVID-19 exposure.
The school, located at 12300 Blundell Rd., is now listed on the Vancouver Coastal Health website as one of a growing list of local exposure possibilities. The potential exposure dates listed are Sept. 11 to 18.
Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry said yesterday that exposure events don’t mean every child at a particular school has been exposed to the virus.
“Unless you’ve had a call directly from public health, you don’t need to worry about that,” she said. “Just because there’s been an exposure event does not mean that you need to keep your children home.”
School exposures to COVID-19 can be viewed on the Vancouver Coastal Health website.
