On Saturday, At Google future campus, a giant construction crane collapsed while operating. It collapsed from the building roof and dropped across a Settle intersection. Unfortunately, four people killed and three injured in the Seattle crane accident.
The incident took place at Seattle’s South Lake Union neighbourhood. It resulted in the crushing of five cars. Also, it damaged one car at the intersection of Fairview Avenue North & Mercer Street.
Consequently, three men and a woman killed. Noticeably, two out of four victims were working in the crane. Whereas two were in separate vehicles struck on the road below.
Not just that, four other people were also analysed at the site. It also included 4-month-old infant girl along with parents. However, all had less risky injuries but still taken to a local hospital.

Fire department stated that the cause of the crane failure was under investigation by the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries.
Esther Nelson was the spectator of the incident. She works in a nearby building as a biotech research assistant. Nelson told reporters she saw the crane fall from the vantage point of a break-room window.
She said that the crane was eight or nine stories tall and looked like broken into two pieces.
Further, she said, “Half of it was flying down sideways on the building. The other half fell down on the street, crossing both lanes of traffic.”
