ByWard Market Shooting – One Person Shot

One individual was shot in the ByWard Market. ByWard Market shooting took place on Friday night.

Ottawa Police reacted at 9:30 p.m. what’s more, happened upon a basically harmed man at the side of ByWard Market Square and York Street.

The man has been taken to the Ottawa Hospital.

Inspector Patricia Ferguson said officers were called to the scene soon after the shots were discharged.

“The victim was in one location and then moved to another where he was subsequently found on the ground.” 

She said they trust the ByWard Market shooting occurred nearer to George Street along ByWard Market Square and the unfortunate casualty crumbled at York Street.

ByWard Market Square is shut down between George Street and York Street. Officers with the weapons and group unit were on the scene.
