In the Ontario province of Canada, there is a certain probability of thunderstorms. The situation arose due to the strong winds, heavy rain, frequent hail and lighting. On Wednesday, A plethora of US Midwest formed storms increased the feasibility of the severe Ontario Thunderstorm.
Notably, the first storm round came up with the rain and little rumbles of thunder. Particularly, the passing cold front has the utmost potential of causing more drastic thunderstorms.
The province received multiple warnings regarding the storms. It also consists of gusty winds of up to 100km/h with the feasible hail.
Highlights:
- Late Friday, there is a probable risk of the second round of storms sliding into Saturday.
- Warm weekend but still cooler than previous days.
On the other hand, GTA and its surrounding areas can expect warm and clear weather throughout the day. While it may result in the warmest day of the year for some areas.
Expectedly, Eastern Ontario can experience widespread thunderstorms through mid-day and late afternoon. The same weather will slide into the early morning also.

Coming to the present day, the day will have an average temperature as per the season. Friday will be sunny at a temperature of about 20 degrees. On the other hand, the Ontario Thunderstorm possibilities will again threaten in the weekend.
Moving on, you can expect Sunday to be clear and better than other days. But still, there is no surety whether the rain showers will happen or not.
Meteorologist Dr Doug Gillham said, “We are becoming concerned that the front that tracks across our region on Saturday will stall closer to our region than initially expected. If that occurs, then we will see a lot more clouds and possibly even a threat for showers on Sunday. He further said, “The middle of next week will bring a return to a familiar pattern in which southern Ontario will once again be the battle zone between summer-like weather to our south and cooler weather to our north.”
Later on, next week & first week of June will be cooler than the seasonal temperature. Henceforth, cool weather will again dominate the province.
