One dead after Saturday drowning in Lake Huron: police

LAMBTON COUNTY, Ont. — Police say they have recovered the body of a person who drowned in Lake Huron on Saturday.
Ontario Provincial Police have identified the deceased as 43-year-old Feona Bramwell of Brampton, Ont.
The OPP say they responded around 7:00 p.m. to a call about a potential drowning at Port Franks Beach, outside London, Ont., with reports that two individuals had disappeared in the water while swimming.
Authorities say a civilian bystander saved one of the two swimmers, while Bramwell could not be located by emergency services until this morning.
Police say they recovered the body of Bramwell around 7:00 a.m. today.
A post-mortem will be conducted on Monday.
