On Thursday, Kim Jong Un says that signalled his determination to be in line in talks with US President Trump. He said North Korea needs to make the economy stronger in order to deliver “severe blow” to impose sanctions.
It’s for the first time that Kim declared North Korea’s position in the 2nd US-North Korea summit, destructed in February.
Kim Jong Un also said that he will double his efforts to make his country self-dependent national economy.
He supported his statement by saying that, “so as to deal a telling blow to the hostile forces who go with bloodshot eyes miscalculating that sanctions can bring to its knees.”
After 27 February summit in Hanoi, US-North Korea engagement is hanging in between. Notably, it was surrounded by misunderstood differences. It includes whether North Korea was ready enough to limit the nuclear program. It was also inclusive of a willingness of the US to ease economic sanctions.
Despite lacking sanction relief, Kim continued to highlight his economic push.

Last month, in plenary session kin informally declared a new political line which was quite centred to economic development & elevating people’s lives.
The ruling party designated Choe Son Hui as a member of Party’s Central Committee. Hui is one of the top leading negotiators with the US.
Kim Jong Un is showing a tougher stance to Washington instead of revealing names of hostile forces imposing sanctions.
On Thursday, US President Trump & South Korea President Moon Jae-in were discussing North Korea and other alliance issues in a summit in Washington.
Moon suggested if North Korea would concise the nuclear program then in return sanctions could allow inter-state economic engagement.
On Wednesday, US Foreign Affair Minister Mike Pompeo told a congressional committee that they could “leave a room” for sanctions. But, only if North Korea tends to shed nuclear power progress.
Kim Jong Un asked for the major US sanctions. But Pompeo said, “The enforcement regime, the core U.N. Security Council resolutions, need to remain in place until the verification of denuclearization has been completed.”
