Liberal MPs of Canadian House of Commons gleefully gave a standing ovation for abortion rights. However, the orthodox and stereotypical conservatives didn’t rose.
Earlier, Bloc Quebecois MP Monique Pauzé asked for undivided consent on a motion related to abortion.
She said, “The House of Commons reiterates that a woman’s body belongs to her and her alone, and recognize her right to choose an abortion regardless of the reason.”
Apart from this, Green Party, Liberal, Bloc Quebecois, NDP and other independent MPs praised her statement.
However, the conservatives actually prove themselves as stereotypical conservatives and didn’t applaud. It seems like conservatives think a lot about babies but do not respect women rights and want to violate it by stopping abortion rights.
Rachael Harder recently attended anti-abortion rally along with 11 other conservatives. She did not praise abortion rights.
Also, Chair of the House of Commons Standing Committee on the status of women, Karen Vechhio did not praise. If a chair of women status based committee is not respecting women’s rights than can people expect from such a person.
Being women and chair of such committee she should women rights, reproductive & abortion rights. These types of women do not deserve to call a lady because they are not progressive but stereotypical.

Recently, Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer faced many questions over his own attitude regarding abortion.
Despite this, Scheer is expecting people to elect him. His deceiving statement doesn’t end here, he said he will not re-open the debate ‘if elected’. It indicates he is trying to manipulate people.
Also, ‘if elected’ in his statement means if you elect him he will not re-open the debate but if you didn’t then he will for sure re-open the case to seek attention.
Scheer’s lucrative and manipulating deals also include free votes among caucus. He was accused of courting anti-abortion social conservatives.
Indeed conservative Andrew Scheer said, “I have always voted in favour of pro-life legislation.”
In addition, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau singled Scheer for not supporting reproductive rights in Canada. Also, Trudeau pointed out the recent wave of restricting and criminalizing abortion as backsliding.
Unfortunately, American states are bringing in sweeping restrictions on abortion and punishment for those who provide it. Hence, Canadians women going to the US for abortion are also facing rejections. Abortion facility is not available in the homeland due to many factors.
On Tuesday, the US abortion ban prompted the development of a late-term abortion facility in the province for any reason.
Henceforth, soon Canadian women won’t need to visit south for seeking an abortion.
