On Tuesday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that Jody Wilson-Raybould and Jane Philpott have been removed from the Liberal Party in the Caucus meeting. Notably, the Government MPs were gathered for an emergency meeting to decide the Party’s future at the Parliament Hill.
Trudeau said that they have tried enough to understand their concerns (referring Wilson & Philpott) but if they don’t have confidence in the team then they can’t be one of those. He also said that former senior cabinet ministers risked the civil war within the party. Thus Liberal’s can lose their power and Canada can’t afford it.
Just after the kicking off Wilson and Philpott from the Party, Trudeau’s presser came out.
He said, “The trust that previously existed between these two individuals and our team has been broken. Additionally, he said, “Earlier today, I met with caucus executive and leadership to hear the will of the caucus. I met with Ms Wilson-Raybould and Dr Philpott to inform them of my decision.”
Trudeau told the liberal party that there is a lack of trust between Wilson & Philpott and the team.
He said, “It’s become clear that Ms Wilson-Raybould and Dr Philpott can no longer be part of our Liberal team.”
Jody Wilson accused Justin Trudeau of inappropriately pressurizing her to protect the SNC-Lavalin scandal.

Conservatives on Removing Jody & Jane from the Liberal Party:
Conservative Leader, Andrew Scheer has called the removal of Wilson & Philpott as “A betrayal of Justice.”
He said, “Elected officials are supposed to protect individuals who blow the whistle on government misconduct and corruption, not punish them.”
All these issues affected the top rank position of Trudeau’s Government.
