On Saturday, North Korea fired several unidentified short-range projectiles into the sea off its eastern coast. The nation fired these projectiles from the Hodo peninsula in the east of the country. North Korea missile tests are always talked about news as country pledges to be nuclear disarmed but never done so. Today we will briefly discuss the most recent North Korea Missile Test.
According to the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff, it’s a sign of Pyongyang’s frustration at stalled diplomatic talks with Washington. The summit meant to provide coveted sanctions relief in return for nuclear disarmament.
Initially, South reported a single missile firing. However, it stated the launch of several projectiles. These flew up to 200km before finally emerging into the sea.
South Korea’s army has sharpened its monitoring in the additional weapon launches. Also, South Korean and US officials are analyzing the details together.

Reportedly, North Korea banned ballistic missiles after 2017. In that year, the nation tested an intercontinental ballistic missile. But, it seems like North Korea isn’t keeping its words and laws. Afterwards, US President Trump feared war with North Korea due to its increasing weapon tests.
The second North Korea Missile test is a result of the second summit’s failure between Donald Trump & Kim Jong Un. Kim was seeking relief from sanctions. In return, he has to nuclear disarmed his nation’ US neighbouring side. But even this time, he didn’t keep his promise and went to try a weapon. It caused disbelief in US President about North Korea. But, Kim is blaming Trump and his officials for this summit end instead of his own actions.
Notably, many experts believe north has many short-range & viable nuclear-equipped missiles. But the nation does not have perfect long-range missiles yet.
Harry Kazanis at the centre for national interest said, “It is also clear that North Korea is upset that there is relief from restrictions due to the lack of flexibility in the restrictions of the Trump administration, which are sticking to the policy of ‘maximum pressure’.”
White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said, “We are aware of North Korea’s actions tonight. We will continue to monitor as necessary.”
