Trump UK Visit - Banquet, Protests, Conference & Much More

On Monday, US President Trump will visit the UK for a three-day official state visit. Queen Elizabeth II will host a state banquet at Buckingham Palace for the Trump and first lady Melania Trump. Here in this article, we are going to discuss Trump UK visit.

Expectedly, Trump’s Air Force One will land at London Stansted Airport at 9:00 BST. He is supporting Tory leadership contender Boris Johnson as future UK PM after Theresa May.

Also, he said Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage should involve in government’s negotiations to leave the EU.

US President will have a tour of Westminster Abbey. There he will meet to Prince Charles & Duchess of Cornwall at Clarence House.

Further, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will also join the Queen at a state banquet. However, the Duchess of Sussex cannot make to the banquet due to her son Archie.

Reportedly, Both the Queen and the US President Trump can present a speech to guests that include prominent American living in Britain.

Moving on, UK PM Theresa May and Trump are going to host a business breakfast at St. Jame’s Palace on Tuesday.

Moreover, both of them will have talks in a joint press conference at Downing Street. May and Trump will also discuss climate change.

During Trump UK Visit, the planned protests will take place at various places. This will also include rallies in Manchester, Birmingham, London, Nottingham and Belfast.

Noticeably, the protesters are going to organise a “national demonstration” starting from Trafalgar Square at about 11:00 BST. The two groups namely Stop Trump Coalition and Stand up to Trump protest group will present at the protests.

Remarkably, the Met police assigned an experienced command team to handle the situations during the visit.

Last year, the cost of police operation during the President’s visit cost was about £18M.

Trump, in order to mark 75th-anniversary of D-Day landings, will visit Portsmouth on Wednesday.

US President will stay at the US Ambassador’s residence Winfield house, near Regent’s Park in central London.

After Trump UK Visit, he will fly to Shannon to meet Irish PM Leo Varadkar. Afterwards, he will go to the golf course at Doonbeg. Noticeably, In Ireland, PM is known as Taoiseach.
