Interoperability between Facebook messaging platforms is not so far. Facebook Messenger’s consumer product head Asha Sharma said users will soon be able to send messages across Messenger, Instagram and Whatsapp. Let’s discuss Facebook interoperability in brief.
Interoperability is going to be part of Messenger’s upcoming features in future. Noticeably, all the messages will be end-to-end encrypted for privacy. Now, the tech giant is focusing on privacy and user security more & more. The company has already faced many issues regarding privacy.
Remarkably, inter-app messaging will allow you to message another person just like you make calls on phone irrespective of people’s telecom connection. Similarly, the same thing will happen on the Facebook messaging platform. If you want to talk to a friend then your message will go to your friend on whatever service they use.
Asha Sharma said, “We believe people should be able to talk to anyone anywhere.”
However, roll out date of this future feature is uncertain yet. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said it could take quite some time.
It means Facebook interoperability feature might take one year or more.
