BEIJING ( Nri Media ): The death toll from the deadly Corona virus in China killed 143 more people, bringing the total death toll to 1,523. China’s National Health Commission said Friday that the virus infected 143 people in the country, and 2,641 people were confirmed to be infected. The total number of cases of this infection in China is 66,492.
The commission said 139 people were killed Friday in Hubei State, the most affected by the infection. In addition, 2 died in Hainan and 1-1 in Beijing and Chongqing. The Chinese government on Friday outlined the “continuous decline” of corona virus infection in parts of the country, excluding Hubei State.
Meanwhile, Chinese President Xi Jinping appealed for the help of digital technologies such as artificial intelligence and cloud computing to treat and prevent illness. Robots have been deployed in Wuhan’s hospitals to assist with materials and other tasks.
