India has called on the Turkish President not to interfere in internal affairs. Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Ravish Kumar said that India rejects all references given by the Turkish President regarding Jammu and Kashmir. He said that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India which can never be more.
Erdo ।an in his address to the Pakistani parliament on Friday described the ‘Kashmiris’ struggle with the war against foreign rule during Turkey’s First World War’. In the context of Erdo ।an’s remarks about Jammu and Kashmir, Kumar said, “India rejects all references to Jammu and Kashmir. It is an integral part of India that can never be more than that. “He said,” We urge Ottoman’s leadership not to interfere in India’s internal affairs and to develop a sound understanding of other facts. “There are serious threats of terrorism originating from Pakistan for India and the region.”
Despite India’s objections, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo ।an once again raised the Kashmir issue and said his country would support Pakistan’s stand on the issue as it is a matter of both countries. Addressing a joint session of Pakistan’s parliament, Erdo ।an, who arrived here on a two-day visit, announced that Turkey would be pushing Pakistan to withdraw from the Financial Action Task Force (ATO) gray list in Paris this week.
