French President Emmanuel Macron said fire devastated Notre Dame de Paris will rebuild in five years. He hopes that France people will pull together to repair their symbol. Many people have pledged donations for Notre Dame Cathedral Renovation.
Notably, Macron cancelled his plan to respond to anti-government protests “yellow vest”.
Macron said, “We will rebuild Notre-Dame even more beautiful and I want it to be completed in five years, we can do it.”
Additionally, he said, “It is up to us to convert this disaster into an opportunity to come together, having deeply reflected on what we have been and what we have to be and become better than we are. It is up to us to find the thread of our national project.”
He also said, “This is not a time for politics” in response to “yellow vest” protests.

As we mentioned in the previous article, the roof and spire of cathedral Norte Dame collapsed, however, the main structure and many artworks are safe. Around 500 firefighters tackle with fire and rescued the main structure.
Notably, many billionaires and companies offered donations to reconstruct Norte Dame cathedral.
Paris public prosecutor Remy Heitz said, “There was no obvious indication the fire was arson.”
“Fifty people were working on what would be a long and complex investigation,” officials said.
French billionaire François-Henri Pinault already pledged to donate €100 million for Notre Dame Cathedral renovation.
More than €750 million had been pledged for donations. The amount includes €500 million from the owners of France’s three giant luxury good empires such as LVMH, L’Oreal and Kering.
