Felicity Huffman was convicted to be part of the US College Admission Scandal. The actress pleaded guilty for her part in the cheating scandal. But, prosecutors still want prison time for her. US college admissions bribery scandal is nicknamed as Operation Varsity Blues.
Huffman paid $15,000 to the Key worldwide foundation to correct the answers of her daughter in SAT score. She bribed the third party to recruit her daughter as a student at University. Notably, she released her guilty plea along with the apologetic statement.
Not only, Felicity, but other 33 wealthy parents along with Lori Loughlin are also included in Operation Varsity Blues. Lori didn’t plead guilty for her part in the scandal. Her older daughter Isabella has deleted her Instagram parents as her parents didn’t plead guilty. She has done this to avoid the spotlight. But, everyone knows what the case is.
Lori’s younger daughter Olivia didn’t delete her Instagram page but she ain’t posting anything since the scandal. She even disabled the comments on her some last posts. So, you why all this is happening.
The actress tried to recruit her not so eligible girls Isabella and Olivia in the University of Southern California crew team. Although, the two girls don’t even know the ABC of sport appropriately. Still, 54-year old mother two girls didn’t apologize for bribing $500,000.
Coming back to Felicity, she still has to face 4 to 10 months in prison with $20,000 fine. The plea agreement says Huffman “reserves the right to argue”.
Talking about Lori, as she hasn’t pleaded the guilty yet, no idea where her case will turn.
Colleges and other third parties aren’t doing injustice to deserving students by recruiting ineligible children of wealthy parents just because of money.
