Reportedly, a gunman kills two people and wounds four at University North Carolina’s Charlotte campus.
According to campus Police Chief Jeff Baker, his dispatch office received the call about the incident. someone told him that an individual armed with a pistol shot several students. Afterwards, police officers went there, disarmed the gunman and took him to custody.
Late Tuesday, the shooter identified as Trystan Andrew Terrell aged 22 during custody. The charges on him are pending and no information other than this revealed yet.
Also, the reason behind his doing is unknown. Whether the assailant knew any victim or not is also uncertain. Thus, there is no explanation of the gunfire by the mugger.
Three hours after the shooting, all the buildings searched and secured. Afterwards, students living on campus returned to their dormitory halls. With effect to the shooting, final university exams would be postponed through Sunday.

Not just that, an outdoor concert of Rap artist Waka Flocka Flame scheduled for Tuesday at campus football stadium cancelled.
A spokeswoman for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Sandy D’Elousa is leading the investigation. She said that the suspect in custody attacked alone.
A special FBI agent, John Strong said, “The FBI is prepared to provide any resource as the investigation continues to determine exactly what led to this tragic loss of life in our community.”

Susan Harden professor of education on campus expressed disbelief at the gun violence. He also serves on the Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners.

According to the University website, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte enrols more than 26,500 students and employs 3000 faculty.
